Computer Vision Scientist

Genius Sports is looking for a highly motivated Computer Vision Scientist to join our Los Angeles office and implement solutions to a range of technological applications in sports. You will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of calibration algorithms for multi-view camera systems.
We’re seeking a person who is familiar with traditional computer vision as well as the newest deep learning-based computer vision algorithms. With a wide range of novel, constantly updated data sets and close relationships with major global sporting bodies, Genius Sports offers an excellent environment to tackle a wide range of interesting challenges and bring their solutions to market.
- MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related discipline; or equivalent industry experience
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ or Python
- Use of classical computer vision algorithms: calibration, tracking, motion estimation, object detection and/or 3D reconstruction.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent data visualization skills
